On the first day, Sawyer and I started the bus ride with tic tac toe and other games. When we arrived at the lodge, we were introduced to the leaders we would be hiking with for the next 3 days. Then we played a game called lobster baseball. In this game, there are two teams and one teme hands the lobster to one another while the other team is in a tight huddle and one person runs circles around the huddle. Watch time around you will get 1 point, the team with the most points wins. Then we began our hike to welton falls. About 15 feet in, Cristian fell down because his shoes were tied together. Alone the way we stopped for many sketches and a couple of water crossings. At lunch we ate at the bottom of the falls and looked at the view. For lunch I ate a peanut butter sandwich and water. On the way back, we took more sketches on the back 80 loop trail. We learned a lot about trees from Mr. Woolner. We got back to the lodge and played football until it was time to go. On the way back, we played some more tic tac toe.
Regions
On the first day, we saw the loge for the first time. Immediately, I noticed that there were solar panels outside the loge near the front lawn. Then to the left of the loge on the trail, there are campsites to stay in if you didnt want to sleep in the loge. Then, we began the hike, where we saw some places that had many types of trees and some that only had one kind.
